On August 20, 2011, Matthew Denice 23 was killed riding his motorcycle. This event is to establish a Memorial in his name. Please join us in remembering happy Memories while we give him one last ride.

The Run will begin at Pinz Entertainment, 110 South Main Street, Milford MA 01757.

A peaceful ride though scenic Central Massachusetts returning to Pinz.

Entertainment by Chyldz Play. There will be a buffet, raffles prizes, 50/50 raffle and much more.

In Case of Rain the event will be held indoors beginning at 1pm.

Children 10 and under $10, will also receive a $3 arcade game card.

Ice Chest Bar & Grille Sponsors Fourth Annual Chest Fest Party with a Purpose to benefit LEXY'S JOURNEY

Chest Fest 2011 is a Tent Party and Bike Run which is being held on the grounds of the Ice Chest Bar & Grille on Sunday, October, 9, 2010. The party will be held under a 5,000 square foot tent where a full stage will host multiple bands throughout the day. This year's bands who will donate their services include The Neal McCarthy Problem, Johnny Barnes & The Nightcrawlers, The Relics, Johnny Edwards Power of Soul and Shipyard Wreck. Food is included in the ticket price and there will be a full Cash Bar under the tent. There will be vendors, raffles & displays.The party kicks off as hundreds of thundering bikes depart in formation. The Bike Run will leave from the Ice Chest at noon with police escort. Registration for the run starts at 10:30. The ride will travel through several local towns on a scenic tour and return to the Ice Chest for the festivities. A motorcycle however is not required to attend the party. Everyone is welcome. A donation of $25.00 per person is requested with all proceeds going to Lexy's Journey.

Alexis Morel is currently a patient at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Ma. In May of 2010 she was diagnosed and was treated for Osteosarcoma, which is a form of bone cancer. As a result of the disease, Alexis\' left lower leg, below the knee was amputated. Prior to her diagnosis, Alexis was an energetic and athletic 14yr old that was active in softball, cheer-leading, dancing school, and the young marines. In early May 2010, while playing in a softball game Alexis was hit by a pitch on the lower part of her left leg. As a result of being hit, and the fact that her pain didn't go away, she was seen by her pediatrician, which resulted in the diagnosis of a tumor that was later identified as Osteosarcoma in Alexis' left lower tibia. Alexis was immediately referred to Dana Farber The Jimmy fund where she underwent aggressive treatment and chemotherapy for a year, and ultimately the loss of her left lower leg. She has recently completed a year of chemotherapy and she is continuing to recover from her lower extremity amputation. Alexis is a remarkable young girl who met the challenge of a cancer diagnosis and the emotional trauma of a limb amputation with determination and enviable spirit.
